Charles Harris

Charles Harris, MD/PhD, is Associate Vice President of Cardiometabolic Research at Eli Lilly, where he serves as clinical and strategy lead for multiple assets in obesity and cardiometabolic disease, including work across tirzepatide, retatrutide, and eloralintide and macupatide programs. Board certified in Endocrinology and Obesity Medicine, he brings 20+ years of patient care and a decade running an NIH-funded lab in glucocorticoid and adipocyte biology at Washington University, plus prior industry experience at Regeneron. He has deep expertise in body composition methodology and applying proteomics to clinical trials.
